How to pair Oticon hearing aids with an Android phone
Quick answer: Pair through the Oticon Companion app, not Android’s Bluetooth menu. Open the app, let it find your restarted hearing aids, select them, and allow pairing. Direct streaming needs a phone with ASHA or Bluetooth LE Audio.

Steps
- Check that your phone supports ASHA or Bluetooth LE Audio in Oticon’s compatibility guide. If not, you need an accessory such as ConnectClip to stream.
- Install the free Oticon Companion app from Google Play and turn on Bluetooth.
- Restart your hearing aids so they are in pairing mode.
- Open Oticon Companion. It searches automatically. Select your hearing aids when their name appears.
- If asked, allow your phone to pair with the hearing aids. When connected, tap Continue.
Important: don’t pair from Android’s Bluetooth menu
Oticon says that on ASHA phones, pairing through the app also turns on direct streaming automatically, and asks you not to use Android’s own Bluetooth settings to connect.
Google Fast Pair
On Android 15 or later with LE Audio hearing aids, Oticon also supports Google Fast Pair. A pop-up offers to connect when the hearing aids are nearby. This varies by model and phone.
Re-pairing
